Some of you may be confused as to why I'm updating in this journal again, especially since you might have noticed it was on the brink of death just a few days ago.

NO, nekolinii_icons is NOT coming back.

I decided that, since a lot of people took icons that I posted here and credited them to this journal, it would be more professional to leave it open and put notices here that it's closed.

THIS JOURNAL IS NOW CLOSED. ALL ICONS TAKEN FROM HERE SHOULD NOW BE CREDITED TO liniichan or spilledheart_x3.

I think that I may possibly delete this journal. I just... don't really feel like creating anything. And the last thing I posted with this, that a lot of you probably did not see since I set it to Private shortly after it was put up, led to such pain that I don't think I could bear to post anything here again...

Maybe I'll just put it on hiatus... I'm not sure...

I got inspired to make icons last night so here they are. I previously wanted to save these for a bigger post but I don't want to force myself to make more icons when I don't have the inspiration, so here's a small batch of 6. :]

Yes, I know.. OMG, another puff entry.. :O

What can I say, they're fun to make. :pp

Along with the puffs posted I also have the sketches for the Katie Puff and Morgan Puff.

-Katie: Your preferences were pink hair and blue eyes, so I tried to give your puff as much cute hair as I could so that I could make it pink. However, I tried to color the eyes of another puff and they were really ugly, so would you settle for a blue puff instead? Also let me know what color/s you want the hair ties, and of course anything you want me to change. :p

-Morgan: I gave you wavy hair like you said you had and I'm gonna make it black when I color it. The puff will be colored using your favorite colors that you told me. The heart on the cheek is because you said hearts=love (lol) and I hope you like the Naruto headband. I actually looked up a pic of the symbol but it was hard to draw in a small space (I can make it better when I photoshop it). If you don't like it or anything else, please let me know. :D

And, in case you were wondering, I chose the little song note for your banner graphic because you're always quoting songs and such. I also thought of perhaps putting a book, to represent your knowledge, but the song note looks much cuter/cooler. :p

I like the Rodri Puff! *huggles him* =3

And I can't draw soccer balls for shit. X) If you want me to change it to something else, just let me know. I picked that because you always have soccer icons and I didn't know what else to do.

(BTW, remember that all the hearts and little graphics in the corners of the banners are drawn free-hand with my mouse in PhotoShop. No sketches for those. So I'm sorry they suck. xD)

The Erynn Puff is a real cutie. ♥

But for some reason I'm a bit iffy on the coloring.. You said either a blue theme or a green theme and I associate blue more to you (due to the StarWay thing, of course) so that's what I picked. The inspiration for the coloring was sorta taken from your new layout colors. If you don't like it, I'll change it ASAP. :D

Well, that's all folks. Only a few more puffs and banners to go (unless I get more requests, of course) before I can start working on colorbars, icons and more silliness. :pp

Ooh, that reminds me that I did a few random sketches of some of the puffs in school today when I was bored. There's Linii Puff with the wrench, Erynn Puff with a gun and an icon (hehehe, a little thing popped into my mind from her awesome "Don't Take Erynn's Icons" cartoon xD), Hiro Puff with wolf ears (he insists on them even though they look ugly with his hair.. men XD), and the x1 Puff dancing to My Humps. I'll try to post it soon. XD

Planned for next update: Mew Puff, Katie Puff, Morgan Puff

Wewt! Stephen is such a cutie here! :3 At first he told me to make the hair brown but then when he previewed it he said he didn't like it, so I had to re-do the hair to make it blonde. Lucky bastard he is. XD I had some difficulty with this for some random reason.. but yahh, I like the outcome a lot. ^^

Puffs!

OMG! An art post! ♥

Okay, well, I'm not exactly sure if you can call this art exactly.. but yush, these silly doodles have been drawn and photoshopped by me. :p

So, months ago, I was in class.. bored.. and the product of my boredom was the sketch shown below. I drew cute little puffs of a bunch of my LF friends. If you're offended or unhappy with your puff, I'm sorry; this was all meant as a joke during my boredom. However!, since I haven't photoshopped all of the puffs yet, feel free to mention any changes you would like to see with your puff. Puffs will be photoshopped in the relative order of me finding out that people are happy with them.

Eventually I hope to make colorbars and icons with these, but that will come once I at least have one good, basic photoshopped puff for everyone. I'll also draw more poses and group pics and other things, but like I said, that comes later. I know this may seem ridiculous but these puffs actually take some patience to draw, or else they come out like nasty doodles. xD;

Furthermore, if I have not drawn you and you would like to be puffified, just leave a comment with some basic preferences (colors && possible decorations/ears/markings/etc).

I feel kind of stupid to be posting these before I post any of my real art, but I guess this will motivate me to put up some real things as well. XD;
